Enquiry No. : 6012858 Oregon (USA)
Description :Currently we use a lamination of 60 gauge PA to 4.5 mil
WOLLDPE.
The material we are trying to source is as follows:
White opaque film should be 72% opacity (standard frozen
food film). PA (nylon) side is treated. Since nylon has a
natural dyne level we would spec 40-42 dynes but it should
not be an issue. As for a seal temp of the LLDPE. You can
use hexene. Octene MLDPE as the sealant.
As for curl. If you are using a blown film it probably
should be put through a water bath to minimize the curl.
Cast will not be an issue.
For blown film you can look at a 7-layer film with
PA/tie/PA/tie/LDPE/LLDPE/LLDPE with white pigment
in the inner LDPE layers. Using thin layers of nylon in the
outside and third layer will help control the curl.
Let me know what else you need.
