Description:
Tee, equal, butt weld, seam, wrought carbon steel, to
ASTM A-234, grade-WPB-W (welded), dimensions to
ANSI B-16.9.

Note:-
1) vendor shall submit an inspection report for knpc's
approval prior to shipment showing the following
in accordance with ASTM A-234, gr. WPBW.
a) Mill test certificates including chemical composition and
mechanical properties
including tension and hardness tests.
b) heat treatment detail report.
c) alloy verification test for chromium content.
d) repair welding records, if any.
2) the following is the scope of inspection work
review 100% material test certificates mechanical
test certificates - includes tension test, heat
treatment charts and repair weldend record if any.
b) spot witness 10% of hydraulic test dimension check
and alloy verification tests f/chromium content
marking of items shall comply with knpc engg. std. 54c1
4) packing - bevelled ends shall be protected by plastic
cover and packing shall be suitable for rough ocean transportation.
