Description :Hi,
I would like to buy Hamsa Hands in bulk. Preferably small
And metallic but is open to see many designs.
Description:
There are many versions to the Hamsa design. The fingers
can be designed in two ways. In the realistic design there
is one thumb and four fingers. In the decorative design
there are three middle fingers as one bunch and two thumbs,
one on each side. The latter portrays amore symmetrical
feeling to the viewer.
Sometimes there is an eye at the center of the hand. This
eye is intended to look back at evil eyes and provide
protection from jealousy and envy. Some of the bigger designs,
which are made of clay, are decorated with holy inscriptions
to provide more power and protection. Other designs add
blue bells or little beads to the fingers, to make them appear
longer. In the Indian version, which is called Humsa Hand,
the eye is very big and has become more important than the
actual hand that surrounds it. The eye is often called "The
Compassionate all seeing eye" or the "Eye of God".
In the Jewish version, the hand is directed upwards,
the fingers pointing to the sky. In this position, sometimes
four little fish are added to the wrist. In some designs,
where the fingers point downwards, the fish are designed
on the fingers. Thanks
