We are in the urgent look out for the below materials:
Preferably in the Middle East region countries
1.Main raw materials:
A:Quartz stones
This raw material is supplied from a suitable mine.
It should be as pure as possible as and not worse than the following:
SiO2- >99%
Fe2O3-<0.15%
Al2O3- <0.3%
CaO- <0.2%
P2O5-
Others- <0.5%
Note: This requirement is a generally accepted quality raw material.
As quartz is a natural material it may vary in practice.
It is expected that we should get very low contents, especially of
Fe, Al, Ca, Mg, Ti, Ni, Mn
Granularity: 25-100 mm.
Preferably 60-100 mm
The stones should be thermally stable and with antiknock property
(They should not cause bursts of gas or shocks in the furnace while heated)
of >70%.
B.Petroleum coke:
Fixed Carbon- >85%
Ash content- <0.25%
Volatiles- <8-25%
Water- <15%
Granularity- 3-13 mm
The 4-8 mm fraction should be > 70%
C.Washed coal or bitumenite:
Fixed Carbon- >60%
Ash content- <0.5%
Volatiles- <25%
Water- <10%
Granularity- 3-13 mm
The 4-8 mm fraction should be > 70%
D.Wood charcoal:
Fixed Carbon- >65%
Ash content- <0.5%
Volatiles- <25%,
Water- <15%
Granularity- 3-80 mm
2- Electrodes:
They could be of either carbon or graphite and are usually supplied
first time with the equipment.
There are certain requirements such as mechanical strength properties,
purity and electrical conductivity that are specified by the furnace builder.
