Specifications: 3,890 school desks:
Specification of requirement 3,890 (three thousand eight hundred ninety)
school desks, unassembled, including desktop and bench connected,
for two students each Quality certification - warranties Each desk
should be for 2 students. The desk will include: desktop with shelve for
books? storage, and bench. Backrest for the desk?s bench is acceptable but not necessarily required. The desks should arrive disassembled and detailed
instruction on their assembly in writing should be provided by the contractor
on the bidding process. The assembly method should require manual
work and basic tools (screws, screwdriver connectors etc) so that
disassembling and assembling them again is convenient.
After assembling the desk it should form 1 (one) piece of furniture,
desktop connected to bench, so it cannot be easily separated and parts
be misplaced. Please note that the specifications and details given
here constitute only the minimum requirements for the desks needed.
Bidders are welcome to suggest alternative specifications that will
be superior in terms of durability, mobility and quality.
Desktop : hard wood ? mahogany Bench : soft wood.
Frame : metallic or wooden. Desktop piece : minimum 120cm x 35cm
Desktop height: minimum 80cm
Bench height : minimum 45cm
Bidders are requested to provide warranties for items
