Description :Dear Sirs,
Kindly inform you our company as leading manufacturer of breakfast cereals
and distributor or ?healthy food? is looking for sea salt for human consumption
for application into our cereals as well as for confection for direct human
consumption.
We are interested in iodized salt (iodine level 26-52 ppm) fine granulation
without anti-caking agent (like E535 or E536), but enriched with magnesium
carbonate E504 (i) or with natural high content of magnesium.
According to Polish rules 100g of salt requires level of 2,3 mg (+/-0,77mg)
of iodine, which relay of equivalent of 30 mg (+/-10 mg) of potassium
iodide K+ I- or 39 mg (+/-13 mg) of potassium iodate K+ IO3-
We would like to add magnesium carbonate to have in 100g of salt min.
56,25 mg of pure magnesium or buy sea salt with high natural content of
magnesium.
Firstly - this amount of magnesium content allows us to declare on the
packaging ?salt enriched with magnesium? (because it will cover 15% of GDA
for magnesium)
Secondly - as you know because of ?healthy? aspects - we would like to avoid
typical anti-caking agents like E535 or E536.
What is the minimum quantity of magnesium carbonate to be added to receive
anti-caking free-flowing effect (if it can play that role)?
Have you got experience with that?
Please let us know your possibilities in that type of sea salt.
We will need from you detailed specification for this type of salt we require.
Also with microbiological parameters, allergen declaration, heavy metal
content and pesticide content.
