Thickness of fins: 0.3 to 0.4 mm

Type of fins: KL (knurled-l fin) i.e fin foot is pre-formed into #l# shape
and applied to the base tube under tension. Knurling tools both precede
and follow the laying down of the fin foot so that the fin material is locked
into the pre-knurled tube. If a small portion of fin is removed from the base
tube, the adjacent spiral fins should remain intact on their position i.e they
should not collapse.

Finish: finned tubes completely tinned by electroplating method after fining.

Test To Be Performed:
The following tests should be peformed on each tube at manufacturer works.

I Hydrostatic test at 42 bars
Ii. Eddy current test as per article-8 of ASME section-v and SE-309 of
article-26
III. Material test and dimensional check

Documents to be submitted:
The contractor shall submit the following test reports along with the supply.

II. Dimensional check report
III. Hydrostatic test report (detailed)
IV. Eddy current test report (detailed)
