Scope of work and technical provisions
1. Introduction
1.1 This Schedule establishes the scope of Work to be
performed by contractor pursuant to this contract,
and describes or references in Attachment I of this
Schedule ?B? the technical requirements that
Contractor shall satisfy or adhere to in accomplishing
the work.
1.2 Because of the technical nature of this Schedule "B"
and the documents referenced therein, they have not been
translated into Arabic. Contractor and company agree to
be bound by the English text.
2. Company - Supplied Materials, Tools and Equipment
2.1 Company-Supplied Materials
Company shall furnish only the following materials to be
used in the work.

3. Objective
The company objective is to have custody grade metering
for Saudi Aramco fuel gas invoice verification and plant
heat rate purposes at Qurayyah 1-4 and Ghazlan 1-4 power
plants.
4. Schedule Requirements
Contractor shall achieve Final Completion by
corresponding to (Final Completion Date). Separable
portions of the work specified in Attachment II to this
Schedule ?B? shall be completed by the dates
specified therein (?Critical Milestone Dates?).
5. General description of work
Contractor shall on Lump Sum/Turnkey (LS/TK) basis,
perform design engineering, material procurement,
quality management, factory inspection/testing, meter
certification, transport and delivery to site, installation,
site inspection, testing and commissioning and all
associated work and services for carrying out
ultrasonic gas metering for Ghazlan 1-4 and Qurayyah
1-4 Power Plants, as specified in the Scope of Work and
Technical Specifications Document No.
6. Summary of Documents
This Schedule ?B? includes all documents listed below
which are hereby made part of this Contract.
6.1 Technical Specification
The Technical Specification defines the technical scope of
the work to be performed by contractor pursuant to this
Contract. It defines the standards, codes and regulations
to be applied throughout the contract duration. It also
defines the basic design criteria for the Project.
6.2 Technical Proposal, Commercial Proposal and
Clarifications
6.2.1 Technical Proposal and Commercial Proposal
The contractor ?s Technical and Commercial Proposals
dated as clarified by the clarification letters listed
below, are made part of this contract and may not be
changed except by change order or an Amendment.
The Technical Proposal is a supplement to the Technical
Specification.
The Technical Proposal and Commercial Proposal
shall not govern over the Technical Specification or
any other part of this Contract.

6.2.3 Minutes of the Bid Clarification Meeting
(?The Minutes?)
The Minutes of the Bid Clarification Meeting, held on
signed by contractor and Company, describe modifications
and clarifications of the Technical Proposal and
Clarifications of the Commercial Proposal agreed to between
the parties. If there is a conflict between the provisions
of the Minutes of the Technical Proposal or the Technical
Specification or the Commercial Proposal, the Minutes
govern. Except for the Technical Proposal, Technical
Specification and Commercial Proposal, the Minutes do not
govern over any other part of the Contract.
The Minutes are part of this contract and may not be
altered except by a Change Order or an Amendment.
6.3 Instructions to Bidders
This Schedule ?B? includes Instructions to Bidders for
Commercial Proposal and for Technical Proposal which
were issued to contractor during the preparation of
its bid for this contract, which by reference is made
part of this contract.
