Tender no 26/2007 for supply of High Tensile Steel Wire 7 MM ,
Qty= 300 TONS
Closing date on 30/4/2007

Specs as follows
Steel required is to be bright plain high tensile wire 7 mm diameter
and will be used in manufacturing pre stressed concrete poles for
medium voltage networks.
- The steel should conform in all respects with the requirements
of BS 5896:1980 or equivalent
- The nominal tensile strength of the steel should be 1570 N/MM2
- The steel should be of low relaxation quality , and the wire is
Pre straightened and will run out straight from the coli when used on site
- No joints are allowed in the wire which should be one piece in the coil.
- Steel should be supplied in large coils of 1.8 0- 2.4 m
- Each coil should contain not more than 250 - 300 kgs.
- Prices should be on the basis of ( C&F) Aqaba Jordan port

- Delivery time to be stated in your offer
- Validity : prices should be valid for not less than 90 days
