Specifications of Rice:

White rice with long grain, well milled and with the
following specifications:-

1-Fit for human consumption and to be consumed in the
country of origin.
2-Humidity: - 14% max. limit (it is allowed to 15% by penalty
of requital, its value is 1:1 according to contract price )
3- Broken kernels: - 5% max. limit.
4- Whiteness degree: - not less than (40) grade as a minimum
limit.
5- The red & damaged grains: - 1.5 % max limit.
6- Chalk grains: - 4% max. limit and it is acceptable by
discount to 6 % by value 1% to each 1%.
7- Raw rice ( grain with its cover ) : - 1% max. limit.
8-Yellow grains: 5% max. limit.
9-Strange materials: 1% max. limit.
10-Residues of chemical insects killers: - must be within the
allowed international limits.
11-Heavy materials: such as (Lead, Mercury and Cadmium),
must be within the allowed international limits.
12- Must be empty of the strange shapes which indicate
damage of rice.
13- Must be empty of genetic improvements.
14-Must be empty of radiation and Dioxin.
15-Must be new product and empty of insects and their grubs.
16-Proportion of Myoctoksen (Flatoksen) is five parts to each
billion as a maximum limit.
