Description :I am working with one of the largest school districts in USA,
and have been asked to assist in locating a vendor for Sport Netting.
The district has more than 750 locations, each of which utilize up
to 11,000sq ft (average of 8,000sq ft) of sport netting for sports
ranging from football, American football, golf, baseball,
hockey, and gym separation.
All of which will need replacing.
I am seeking product samples for testing from companies who
might be interested in supplying netting for a project such as this.
At this time, we are seeking sample netting for testing only.
All of the test panels will be put in place, in 25ft to 75ft
sections, and will be evaluated for strength, craftsmanship
durability from weather, and from sports use. This test will
be conducted from January 15th, 2008, until July 2008, at
which time a vendor will be chosen.
If you are interested in submitting a sample net, you are
invited to do so at your expense.
The netting should have the following characteristics:
Black
UV Resistant
Moisture Resistant
75 - 1 weave, no larger then 1.25 (inches)
Diamond weave, although some square will be considered for
over-head usage.
Preferred sizes are sections from 12ft H x 50ft L to 12ft x75ft
but please no larger than 12x100ft. Although we may have one
or two sections requiring 100ft or more, it is not required
for sample testing.
Must be rated for sports usage, baseball in particular.
No webbing, weights, grommets or other finishing. We will decide
on finishing items after the test.
If you submit more than one product sample, please label the
items clearly in English so we can clearly understand that
there is a difference in the items.
Any lab test results for strength, UV resistance, abrasion etc
are welcome but not necessary.
