Description :We are very much interested to import 500 MT Steel Core Wire
(as per below specification) for a large Cable Manufacturing
Plant C & F Chittagong on emergency basis.

Specifications of steel core wire for ACSR swallow

Size:2.38 mm dia.

Specification:
Galvanized Steel Core Wire for ACSR 'Swallow' Complying to
the Specification of ASTM B 498-74 (1979) of class 'A' coating
latest revision thereof. The core wire will be used to
manufacture ACSR conductor as per ASTM B 232-86 & latest
revision thereof.

N. B. Negative tolerance of diameter of steel core wire will
not be acceptable

Packing:
The steel core wire to be supplied in single length of 20 Km
per wooden reel. The wooden reel must be sturdy treated,
wrapped with polythene paper of suitable rust & moisture
protection. The Steel core wire shall be provided by use a
suitable corrosion inhibitator grease or oil.

The dimensions of wooden drum are as follows:
Flange dia:860 mm
Bore dia:80 mm
Flange thickness:60 mm
Barrel dia: (350-400) mm
Overall width:545 mm
