Description :Here is a new product enquiry from a customer is
Sweden. It is a hood made from laminated woven
polypropylene for cover large loads of timber for
the building industry.
It is for woven polypropylene or woven HDPE hoods
(5 of 6 sides covered leaving the one long side uncovered
to "hood" the timber) . For covering timber to protect them
from the weather and to protect them from damage by
scuffing and in transit. Please see the attached photographs
to give you an idea of what these products look like.
The hoods have to have the following characteristics
As a starting point the film should be "waterproof",
meaning it has to be laminated with a thin layer of PE,
and also preferably UV-stabilized for 1 year in Europe.
Lengths vary from approximately 260 cm up to approximately 600 cm.
Width is 1200 mm and height is normally 1100 mm.
Weight should be in the region of 75-95 g / sum.
Material is PE or PP (or a blend). Colour has to be white or
white / black (black per lamination)
Gables (end of hoods) are normally sawn or welded to
the film in a waterproof way
Repeat print required along the outside-see samples on
photographs of normal coverage
These products are not reused and are required for Sweden in
full container loads-40 ft to Gothenburg Sweden.

to make for me 4 hoods as follows in 2 different films
Film 1 white woven polypropylene
Film 2 White woven HDPE or blend
Style Hoods as per the photographs
Size 260 cm x 120 cm x 110 cm (length x width x height)
Material 90 gsm white woven polypropylene with LDPE
lamination to make waterproof.
Print none for samples (but 2 colours 2 sides per photographs
for pricing) Ends 2 x 120 x 110 ends stitched with double
fold to the main body of the hood.
Would you also please give me a price indication FOB your port
for these items as follows in full container loads. Can you also
advise the approximate number of hoods I would get for each
of these three sizes on 1 x 40 ft regular sized container
1. 260 x 120 x 110 cm printed 2 sides 2 colours 5000 hoods
2 450 x 120 x 110 cm printed 2 sides 2 colours 5000 hoods
2. 600 x 120 x 110 cm printed 2 sides 2 colours 5000 hoods.
